OTR Driver

This is a full time position with benefits. The employee will perform duties as required to deliver product to customers. The driver will be the front line of our business and play an important role in the day to day operations of delivering product to customers. Must be willing to team drive, and unload product. Usually a set schedule and home within 14-36 hours of each run.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)

·       Following all DOT rules and regulations andEnsuring that equipment meets DOT standards

·       Ensuring that load is secure

·       Successfully operating a tractor trailer

·       Accurate completion of daily logs and reports includingsuccessfully operating electronic logs

·       Adherence to Good Agricultural Practices (GAP’s)for food processing

·       Good communication with supervisors and salesteam

·       Drive to each customer safely and efficiently

·       Unload/ break down product according to customerspecifications

·       Operate hand and electric jack

·       Keep equipment clean and maintained

·       Must be willing to team drive.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Other jobs as needed

Requirements and Skills:

·       Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record

·       DOT medical card

·       Follow all DOT rules and regulations

·       Proven abilities to work independently andproductively with limited supervision and collaboratively as part of a team

·       Self-motivation and honesty

·       Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds

·       Operate hand and electric jack


·       3 years’ experience preferred, but not required
