EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the product vacuumprocessing, and storage in compliance with FDA/USDA, and JM Foods rules andregulations. Effectively communicates in order to drive productivity by Foodsdemands. Maintains inventory records and requisitions of product as necessaryto meet delivery schedules. Evaluates products to maintain organizationalstandards. Communicates with supervisors to coordinate activities betweendepartments. Manages and utilizesvarious production reports. Interprets, understands, and manages reportswithin responsible area such as Product temperature, Quality, etc. Meetsproduction requirements while maintaining appropriate speed and efficiencyensuring quality products. Accomplishes all paperwork in accordance withestablished time frames or record keeping requirements.
SecondaryDuties and Responsibilities:
Promotes a safe work environmentas well as meets safety requirements complying with all policies or regulationsset forth by JM Foods, OSHA, or various government agencies concerning safety,environment, handling of food products, packaging, ingredients and any relateditems. Creates a continuous improvementculture: Fosters a continuous improvement culture for their directreports. Ensures operations are being performed appropriately in order toimprove processes and to continually find ways to drive out waste. Applies LEANconcepts and procedures to the day-to-day production operations. Accomplishesquality performance which meets or exceeds all line, department, facility,company, and USDA/FDA guidelines or grading process for a total quality programand customer relations. Communicates atall levels in order to meet production expectations: Collaborates withthe functional areas of operations such as Human Resources, Safety,Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Shipping, etc. Communicates at all levels tomaximize processing of the highest quality product at the lowest cost possible.

-Must be able to work in acold environment as well as weekends and holidays
-Must be able to work longhours
-Ability to adhere closelyto SOP’s
-Must be able to lift aminimum of fifty pounds
-Proven abilities to workindependently and productively with limited supervision and collaboratively aspart of a team
-Vacuum cooler experience preferred.
